The gaps that previously existed as a niche for pure-play open source service outfits are now evolving into legit opportunities for larger, established firms like HP. Even though I'm predicting that providing broad stroke open source services won't be a feasible approach as the market for open source in general is set to explode, it's intriguing to see HP take a step in this direction.
