- Ubuntu Live needs more commercial focus
The conference is going to reflect Ubuntu's focus which right now isn't set on building out the ecosystem. Will it always be that way? Of course not. We'll have to wait until next year to gauge what it is at that point.
- Wikis and RFPs
The problem space and the overlap is definitely there...In my mind companies should already be using wikis for one thing or another, anyway.
- OpenMFG transforms into xTuple and changes license
I don't know if I agree with Matt on the Yet another license argument. Open source companies and communities are obligated to do what's best for themselves. Plus, those who would be most confused by the proliferation of open source licenses most likely aren't even aware of their sheer numbers. Still, you have to admit, xTuple is a cool name.
- Microsoft wants a piece of the open source pie
To find myself actually considering Microsoft as a player in the open source space is both intriguing and slightly mind boggling.

The one about no graven images [idols] of Mark Shuttlesworth is a good one.
- Ismael on OpenSAM
The Office 2.0 movement is in desperate need of strong, unifying bonds throughout its ecosystem. Might OpenSAM be just what the doctor ordered?
